Knitting:knitted work or the process of producing it

Hatched:An opening, as in the deck of a ship, in the roof or floor of a building, or in an aircraft.

Duckling:flesh of a young domestic duck  

Farmyard:An area surrounded by or adjacent to farm buildings

Pecked:To grasp and pick up with the beak

Shelter:protection against wind, rain, enemies

Cottage: A small, single-storied house, especially in the country

Sight:The ability to see

Liar:a person who has lied or lies repeatedly

Surely:With confidence; unhesitatingly.
