Geography: Describe a landscape

This landscape is situated in Colombia and it is a high plateau located in the center of Colombia in the Eastern Ranges of the Colombian Andes and is crossed from north to south by the Bogotá River .It is a Equatorial landscape (a type of hot zone)in wich the summer is all year and hasn't got winters. There are 2 seasons: the rainy season(summer) and the dry season (winter)In the rainy season, the river's flow rises but they are almost dry during the dry season.Scattered shurbs and isolated trees grow among the tall grass.Acacias and baobas are some of the trees that can be found in the savannas. There are jaguar, tapir, monkey, toucan, macaw ,sloth.....

In this picture we can appreciate a steppe with various plants ,houses and trees .I have chosen this picture because is very beautiful and I visit it.

  1. There is not agreement between you image and the description you have wrote. This photo shows a tropical forest and you describe a savanna.
